Short answer

Helium 10 vs SoldScope: the short answer

Helium 10 if you want one suite that also runs your ads, inventory and profit reporting; SoldScope if what you need is research and rank tracking at a fraction of the price. Helium 10 is the best-known seller suite: product and keyword research, an AI listing builder, rules-based ad automation through Adtomic, inventory and profit reporting from the Diamond plan up and an MCP server, at $99–$129 a month for Platinum and $279–$359 for Diamond, with a free plan. SoldScope is a younger, cheaper research and analytics toolkit: keyword and product research, rank tracking, a listing analyzer, an AI listing builder, an SQP analyzer, review automation, reimbursements and an MCP server, from a free tier and $29 a month up to $119. Its advertising side is read-only, and its own comparison concedes PPC management, P&L, inventory and multi-marketplace tools to Helium 10. Helium 10 rates 4.2 from 184 reviews on G2; SoldScope has no public review base yet.

Helium 10 vs SoldScope: what actually separates them

  • Price. SoldScope starts with a free tier and $29 a month (Starter), $59 for Standard and $119 for Professional. Helium 10 Platinum is $99–$129 and Diamond $279–$359. If research is all you need, that gap is most of the decision.
  • Research volume per dollar. By SoldScope's own comparison, its $59 Standard plan tracks 2,500 keywords against 500 on Helium 10 Platinum, runs its listing analyzer 1,000 times a month against 50, and includes 5 seats against 1. These are the vendor's figures, not ours.
  • Operations. Helium 10 acts on your account: Adtomic automates bids on rules, and inventory and profit reporting come from Diamond up. SoldScope's PPC is read-only and it has no P&L or inventory module, which its own Helium 10 page concedes.
  • Track record. Helium 10 rates 4.2 from 184 reviews on G2, with "too many options" and price as its most-tagged complaints. SoldScope has no G2 page and no reviews on Capterra yet, so there is no independent sample to judge it by.
Before the table

What each one actually is.

Two paragraphs, no adjectives from us — what the product does and who it is sold to.

Its core is product and keyword research, with an AI listing builder, inventory management, profit and refund reporting from the Diamond plan up, and rules-based ad automation through Adtomic. Its core is keyword and product research and rank tracking, around which it adds a listing analyzer, an AI listing builder, an SQP analyzer, a Buy Box map, review automation, a reimbursement service, a Chrome extension, an API and an MCP server for AI agents. The European question

And if you sell on Amazon Spain, Italy or Germany?

Almost every comparison of these two is written for a US seller. Here is what each one publishes about the European marketplaces, where your commercial data sits, and which currency you are billed in.

Helium 10

Amazon EU depth
Marketplace coverage not detailed by region on its pricing page
Where your data sits
EU data residency and AI Act posture not documented publicly
Currency you are billed in
Publishes in dollars, so your cost moves with the exchange rate.

SoldScope

Amazon EU depth
Supported marketplaces are not listed on its site
Where your data sits
Hosting region, GDPR and AI Act posture not documented; follows Amazon's Data Protection Policy
Currency you are billed in
Publishes in dollars, so your cost moves with the exchange rate.
The verdict

Which of the two fits your operation.

Neither product is better in the abstract. Here is the case for each, on the criteria that decide it.

Choose Helium 10 if…

  • You are researching what to sell: product discovery, demand estimates and keyword databases are its core strength.
  • You are an individual seller who wants the cheapest broad toolkit — Platinum starts at $99/month billed yearly.
  • You value the training ecosystem: FBA courses, ads academy, workshops and webinars are bundled in.

Choose SoldScope if…

  • You want the cheapest serious research toolkit: Starter is $29/month, or $24 billed yearly, with a free tier to try it first.
  • Rank tracking at volume is your daily job: 2,500 keywords and 250 boosts on Standard, with unlimited tracking groups.
  • You run your campaigns yourself in Amazon Ads and only need research, listings and reporting around them.
A third option

If neither fits: what Epinium does that neither of them documents.

The rows below are the ones where Epinium ships a capability and neither Helium 10 nor SoldScope documents one. Anything either of them already does is not on this list.

Where both land in the same place, and why Epinium is the alternative to the pair

  • Neither documents a review-and-approve step. Helium 10 automates on rules; SoldScope does not change campaigns at all. Epinium runs your advertising with the control you choose: changes wait in your review queue, or an autonomy mode you switch on applies them, new campaigns and workflows start paused, and every change is logged for 90 days.
  • Neither writes listings for AI assistants. Both have an AI listing builder, but a builder tuned for the keyword box is not content written to be picked up by Rufus. Epinium optimises the listing for the shopper and for the models that recommend to them.
  • Neither is built for Amazon EU. Helium 10 does not break marketplace coverage down by region on its pricing page and SoldScope does not list its marketplaces at all; neither documents EU data residency or an AI Act position. Epinium is European, with localised keyword data for ES, IT, DE, FR and UK and your data in the EU under GDPR.

Frequently asked questions

Is SoldScope a real Helium 10 alternative?

For research and rank tracking, yes, and a much cheaper one: from a free tier and $29 a month against $99–$129 for Helium 10 Platinum. For running ads, inventory and profit reporting, no: SoldScope's PPC is read-only and its own comparison concedes P&L, inventory and multi-marketplace tools to Helium 10.

Which is cheaper, Helium 10 or SoldScope?

SoldScope at every published tier: Starter is $29 a month ($24 billed yearly), Standard $59 and Professional $119, against $99–$129 for Helium 10 Platinum and $279–$359 for Diamond. Both have a free plan. SoldScope adds a 14-day money-back guarantee on new paid plans.

Do Helium 10 and SoldScope connect to Claude or ChatGPT?

Both ship an MCP server. Helium 10's connects your data to AI tools from the Diamond plan; SoldScope's works with Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents, with research-oriented tools inside your plan limits. If you want the assistant to also create campaigns and workflows, Epinium's MCP writes them on its Business plan, with the scopes you grant.

Which one is better for selling on Amazon Spain, Italy or Germany?

Neither documents that depth. Helium 10 does not break its marketplace coverage down by region on its pricing page, and SoldScope does not list the marketplaces it covers. That gap is the reason Epinium exists: purpose-built for ES, IT, DE, FR and UK, with keyword data localised per marketplace and your data in the EU.

What is the alternative to both Helium 10 and SoldScope?

Epinium. Against Helium 10 (Platinum $99–$129/mo · Diamond $279–$359/mo · Enterprise from $1,499/mo) and SoldScope (Free tier · Starter $29/mo · Standard $59 · Professional $119 (from $24/$49/$99 billed yearly) · Enterprise custom), Epinium publishes its pricing: Brain free, Guru €159/mo, Business €349 and Master €799, plus an advertising commission that tapers from 5% to 2% with volume and applies only to the spend it manages. It also goes past advertising — listings, catalogue, stock and per-ASIN P&L — with the control level you choose: approval queue or autonomy mode. Detail on Epinium pricing. Both competitors' data verified on 15 August 2026 from public sources.

Do Helium 10 or SoldScope optimise listings for Rufus?

Helium 10: Not documented. SoldScope: Not documented. Epinium does optimise your listings to rank in Rufus and other AI shopping assistants — see GEO / AI search. To be precise: Epinium optimises for that surface; it does not measure your share of voice inside it.
