Is this a product I turn on, or something you build for me?
It is a build. The Shopify MCP Accelerator is a custom implementation service — we design and build your Model Context Protocol integration for Shopify, connect it to the Admin and Storefront APIs and hand it to your team. It is not a self-serve product you activate in-app.
What can I ask about my Shopify store?

Is this real-time data or does it sync overnight like most apps?
Real time. Every question hits the Shopify Admin or Storefront API directly at that moment. No overnight sync, no cached dashboard, no export step.

Is our Shopify data secure?
Yes. The MCP architecture routes query results straight to your AI client — your data is never stored by third parties or sent to train models. All connections use OAuth 2.0 and can be revoked at any time.
Do I need an Epinium Platform subscription?
No. The Shopify MCP Accelerator is a standalone implementation service that works with any team that has a Shopify store and admin access.
Who handles API rate limits and throttling?
We do. Epinium manages Shopify API rate limits at the infrastructure level — retry logic, burst management and quota distribution across all endpoints.
