**Executive summary**
- **What changes:** you can now edit **every field** Amazon allows for each product, not just the title, bullets and description. Each change is **checked against Amazon's rules** before it is saved, and the problems Amazon already reports on a listing show **next to the field that causes them**.
- **What you need to do:** open a product with errors or an inactive one, go to **Properties**, correct what it flags and publish. Then follow it in the **Publications** panel until Amazon accepts it.
- **What else is new:** **Margin leaks**, which tells you which products are losing margin and why; **Profitability by grouping**; and, for new customers, the codes **FBASHOW25** and **FBASHOW40** and a **3%** commission. And we look forward to seeing you at the **FBAshow**, on 4 and 5 November at IFEMA Madrid.

An inactive listing hardly ever tells you why. Often the cause is a single piece of data: the battery type is missing, the material is not one of the values the category allows, or the package dimensions are not in the format Amazon asks for. Until today you could change the text of your products in Epinium, but those fields were left out. From today you have all of them, on one screen, with Amazon's checks before you save.

## 1. Edit every field of your products

The **Properties** tab of each product, in [Catalog → Products](https://app.epinium.com/catalog/products), now shows [every field Amazon allows](/en/platform/catalog/#every-field) for that product type and that marketplace. Material, number of units, country of origin, package dimensions and weight, batteries, safety information, and the rest of the attributes of its category.

**Each field has its own control.** If Amazon gives a list of options, you pick from a dropdown with those options; if it is a number, a numeric field; if it is long text, with a character counter. Field names appear in your language.

**It is checked before you save.** Epinium checks each change against the rules Amazon publishes for that product type and that marketplace:

| Rule | Example |
|------|---------|
| Maximum length | A bullet cannot go over the limit of its category |
| Format | A date has to be a valid date |
| Allowed values | A list field only accepts Amazon's options |
| Data that goes together | If the product includes batteries, Amazon also asks for the type and the number |

If something is missing when you save, Epinium tells you what is missing and takes you to the first field. What is left pending publication is something Amazon can accept, and you find out about the problem when you save, not days later.

**It works with Seller Central and Vendor Central.** On Vendor, each change is saved in the product's Vendor Central data.

## 2. Fix inactive listings or listings with errors

The problems Amazon already reports on a product appear [next to the field that causes them](/en/platform/catalog/#listing-errors), and the side index in Properties counts how many there are in each group. That way you see why a listing is inactive, rejected or has warnings without having to look for it in Seller Central.

1. Open the product and go to **Properties**.
2. The side index marks the groups with problems with a number. Open the group.
3. Correct the field. If a related piece of data is missing, it tells you.
4. Save as pending and publish.

**The same checks everywhere.** Quick edit in the table, bulk edit, AI generation and tasks go through the same filter. A change that would break a rule is not saved, and you see the reason. A product that already came from Amazon with problems does not hold up a bulk edit: it is saved anyway, and you fix the old problem from Properties.

**See when Amazon accepts each change.** The new [Publications panel](/en/platform/catalog/#publications), next to «Generate with AI» in the products table, shows each publication country by country: whether Amazon is still processing it, has accepted it or has rejected it, in which case you see the field, Amazon's message and a link to the product.

**From your assistant.** On Business and Master, you can ask Claude or ChatGPT to change many listings from a spreadsheet, with the [Epinium MCP](/en/platform/mcp/). Each row is checked against Amazon's rules before anything is saved.

**Where the boundary is.**
- **Guru, Business and Master:** edit every field, see Amazon's problems and the Publications panel, from the platform.
- **Business and Master:** also from your assistant with the MCP.
- **Not every inactive listing is fixed with one piece of data.** If Amazon deactivates it because of the price, documents it asks for or an account review, that is still solved in Seller Central.
- **Bulk edit** still covers title, bullets, description and search terms. The other fields are edited product by product or with tasks.
- **Price** keeps its usual editor.

## 3. Profitability by grouping

**Margin by product** has a new tab, [By grouping](/en/platform/profitability/#by-group). Each grouping in your catalog (families, brands, ranges) appears on one row with the same columns as the products table: sales, fees, advertising, cost and margin. Below come **No grouping**, **No catalog product** and the total. If you open a grouping you see its P&L, with each line's share of your account, and the list of its products.

You can also **filter the P&L and Margin by product by one grouping**. Bear in mind that with a grouping selected, advertising only counts the spend attributed to its products: Sponsored Brands and spend that does not belong to a specific product are left out.

And each product now has a **Margin** tab in its detail page, with its indicators, its waterfall, the cost breakdown and a warning when TACoS goes over the maximum the product can take without losing margin.

**Where the boundary is.** In the platform, from Guru, which goes down to advertising; margin needs Business or Master. Through the API and the MCP, on Business and Master.

## 4. Margin leaks: which products are losing margin and why

[Margin leaks](/en/platform/profitability/#margin-leaks) is a new screen inside Profitability. It lists the products whose **margin on net sales has dropped** against the previous period, ordered by the **money at risk**. At the top you have three cards: **Leak**, **Watch** and **Total at risk**.

**The cause, product by product.** Each row says what moved the margin: advertising, fees, refunds or product cost. If you open a product you see its waterfall and each cost on net sales compared with the median of your account, so you know whether that product is out of the ordinary.

**From finding it to fixing it.** Select the products and create a task, already filled in with the drop, the money at risk and the cause. Your assistant also finds them with the MCP and offers to create the task.

**Where the boundary is.** It is part of Business and Master, because it needs your product cost. On Guru and Free you see it in the menu with the crown. It compares with the previous period, so a product with no earlier sales cannot have a leak.

## 5. Come to the FBAshow, and for new customers: FBASHOW25, FBASHOW40 and a 3% commission

On **4 and 5 November** we are at the [FBAshow](https://fbashow.com/?utm_source=epinium&utm_medium=referral&utm_campaign=launch-2026-10-28), part of Tech Show Madrid, at **IFEMA Madrid**. Round tables with brands that sell on Amazon and on marketplaces, and entry is free. Come and see us and we will show you all of this live.

Until **20 November**, if you sign up for Epinium, the code **FBASHOW25** gives you **25% off the Business plan for the first 3 months** if you pay monthly, or **FBASHOW40** gives you **40% off the first year** if you pay yearly. You enter yours when you subscribe to Business.

And from today, the commission on the advertising Epinium manages is **3% for new customers**. It is charged only on the spend your agents manage, not on all your advertising spend. The plans are on [Pricing](/en/platform/pricing/).

## Other improvements

- **P&L through the API and the MCP.** Your assistant reads the waterfall and the margin by product and by channel, and can upload product costs through the API. It is part of Business and Master.
- **Up to which day there is data.** The P&L, Margin by product and the product detail page say up to which day sales and cost are confirmed, and a cost you upload dated today already counts in the margin.
- **The MCP with full access by default.** Your new keys and connections have all the permissions of your plan, and you restrict them in Settings. Free and Guru can connect Claude and ChatGPT again.
- **Custom prompts through the API and the MCP.** Your assistant creates them, edits them and assigns them to a grouping.
- **Filters in the advertised products selector.** When you create a campaign or add products you can filter as in Catalog and paste a list of ASINs.
- **Vendor Ads profiles.** When you link one, its data starts loading at that moment, and the targeting search finds ASINs.
- **Smart Campaigns: migration completed.** All active ones are now in workflows and the old section is gone.

## Security and reliability

- Your access links and invitations are single-use and stored encrypted, just like your second factor (2FA).
- Each campaign has a single bid optimizer, even if several workflows include it.
- The P&L also adds up in accounts with a lot of volume, and applying a task no longer stops halfway.

## What we recommend you do this week

1. **If you have inactive listings or listings with errors:** open each one in **Properties**, correct what the side index flags and publish. Check in **Publications** that Amazon accepts it.
2. **If you are on Business or Master:** ask your assistant to prepare the changes from a spreadsheet and review what does not pass the checks before publishing.
3. **If you are on Business or Master:** open **Profitability → Margin leaks** and create a task for the top three.
4. **If you group your catalog:** open **Margin by product → By grouping** and compare your families.
5. **If you are not a customer yet:** try Business with the code FBASHOW25 (or FBASHOW40 if you pay yearly) before 20 November, and come and see us at the FBAshow on 4 and 5 November.

## Frequently asked questions

### Which product fields can I edit now?

Every field Amazon allows for its product type and its marketplace: material, number of units, country of origin, package dimensions, batteries, safety information and the rest of the attributes of its category, as well as title, bullets and description. It works with Seller Central and Vendor Central products.

### Can Epinium fix an inactive listing?

If it is inactive because of a piece of product data, yes: Properties shows you the problem next to the field, you correct it and publish it, and in Publications you see when Amazon accepts it. If Amazon deactivates it because of the price, documents or an account review, it is solved in Seller Central.

### Which plan do I need?

Editing every field, seeing Amazon's problems and the Publications panel are available from the Guru plan. Doing it from your assistant with the Epinium MCP requires Business or Master. Profitability by grouping is available from Guru down to advertising, and with margin on Business and Master.

### What is Margin leaks?

A Profitability screen that lists the products whose margin on net sales has dropped against the previous period, ordered by the money at risk, with the main cause and the option to create a task to fix it. It is part of the Business and Master plans.

### Can I edit any field in bulk?

Not yet. Bulk edit covers title, bullets, description and search terms. The other fields are edited product by product, with tasks or from your assistant from a spreadsheet.

### How do the FBASHOW25 and FBASHOW40 codes work?

They are for new customers who subscribe to the Business plan until 20 November 2026: FBASHOW25 gives 25% off the first 3 months if you pay monthly, and FBASHOW40 gives 40% off the first year if you pay yearly. You enter the code when you subscribe.
